 Earth Economics is dedicated to creating sustainable, equitable, economically efficient, and democratic development alternatives. Our reforms target the World Bank, the International Monetary Fund, the World Trade Organization, Export Credit Agencies, private finance, and the multilateral development banks.
We help to leverage reforms in finance and trade policy by:
- Linking ecological economists with environmental groups and other NGOs
- Increasing NGO capacity in ecological economics concepts and principles through skillshares and by providing economic analyses for use in NGO international finance and trade campaigns
- Raising public awareness concerning the World Bank, IMF, and other international public and private finance institutions.
