Economists:
Puget Sound worth somewhere between $7B and $62B a year

July 25, 2008 (Seattle) – Is it possible to put a price tag on the economic value of the Puget Sound, including the mountains, forests and wetlands surrounding it?
Seattle-based Earth Economics did just that in a report issued this week.
The group of economists put the Sound's value somewhere between $7 billion to $62 billion a year.
