Rowan Schmidt

Rowan Schmidt grew up in New Zealand. Rowan leads Earth Economics’ 21st Century Utility program, a national effort alongside major water utilities and other public agencies to advance benefit-cost analysis, accounting, asset management, and funding mechanisms for natural capital investments. Rowan also leads a three-county ecosystem service valuation effort in the San Francisco Bay area, the results of which were used to support an open space protection funding measure in Santa Clara County.
