On Thursday, November 13th, the Tacoma Tree Foundation is hosting the 4th Annual State of the Urban Forest, an evening of music, presentations, and a toast.

To celebrate the many ways trees inspire us to work together for the future, Northwest Sinfonietta will perform Viet Cuong’s “Next Week’s Trees,” an eight-minute cello and percussion piece is based on Mary Oliver’s poem, ‘Walking to Oak-Head Pond.’ 

7seas is hosting a social event following presentations on new city tree canopy data, City plans to improve urban forest outcomes, and community stewardship.
